InSite provided Professional Engineering, Surveying, and Planning support as well as permitting services for the proposed expansion to the Two River Theater in Red Bank. The expansion project provided support space for the theater, including office, set production shops, rehearsal spaces, storage areas, and reconfigured parking and circulation areas. The support space will serve the Rechnitz and Marion Huber Theaters, which total 459 seats. The site was redesigned to accommodate the expansion, including 105 parking spaces on the 2.4-acre site. A new stormwater management system was designed to comply with the requirements for the “major development”. Utility coordination was a sensitive component of the site design due to the several easements and existing utilities passing through the site. A landscape and lighting design was prepared for the site to provide an exceptional experience for the theatergoers.
